Stockinette USSR Russian Folk Dolls

Vintage maybe even antique at this point 1920s-30’s Stockinette folk handmade dolls.
A wonderfully old patina developed all over these dolls. Soviet/Russian (now Russian Federation) dolls. The dolls measure approximately 6.75” tall. They are stockinette with great molded sweet faces then hand painted. Unfortunately the cute little guy has damage around chin (looks darned to me) & missing his hat. She has wear on both hands.
The dolls are wearing traditional ethnic peasant costumes she wears woven Lapti (shoes) which are hand carved & he has unique carved wooden black high boots. Both shoes have a little wear on edges that just add to their antique charm. Their original clothing is in good condition. Because these are hand seen the edges are raw. These are very old & have traveled half way around the world in grandpas suitcase so they’re a little worse for the wear.
Hard to give up but raising college funds 4 my daughter . Look at photos closely these give a full description of dolls.
